End-of-life Doula

With a professional background as a hospice nurse, I have supported many individuals and families through life’s most tender transitions.

As an End-of-Life Doula, I blend clinical skill with holistic modalities — including communicating with your hospice team, navigating pain and comfort care, and, if desired, providing holistic care based on yoga, meditation, deep breathing, therapeutic massage, and the light use of essential oils; creating comfort, ease, and emotional grounding.

My goal is to support clients physically, emotionally, and spiritually with a calm, knowledgeable, and compassionate presence.

Guidance Through the Dying Process

With hospice bedside experience, I guide families through what to expect during the dying process, help educate regarding medication management, scheduled versus as-needed medications, and the importance of an effective bowel regimen.

My background allows me to assist and teach regarding: anxiety, agitation, breathing issues, swallowing precautions, nausea, pain, secretions, wound care, and more.

Having an end-of-life doula offers that extra support that a hospice organization may not have time for. This extra care can help ease restlessness, fear, or discomfort for families and the individual who is dying.

Holistic Wellness Enhancement

Drawing from hospice nursing and holistic healing, I provide grounding presence, guidance, and hands-on care to support clients and families.

Supporting comfort, emotional balance, and a peaceful environment, I integrate a range of holistic practices:

  • Essential oils for aromatherapy, relaxation, and emotional support

  • Meditation and guided visualization for peace

  • Deep breathing exercises to reduce anxiety

  • Therapeutic massage for pain and tension relief

  • Gentle yoga for comfort & Pilates-inspired movements for stability

All modalities are adapted to each client’s preferences, energy level, and physical ability.

Caregiver Respite Time

I offer respite so caregivers can rest and recharge.  During this supportive time, I may provide the client with:

  • Gentle companionship and presence

  • Comfort-informed care rooted in hospice experience

  • Relaxing aromatherapy using essential oils

  • Restorative massage therapy

  • Calming deep breathing exercises

  • Preferred music
